Warm Bacon and Walnut Salad
A quick update on my blog with what I have been up to lately…I attended an inspiring session called ‘Hot Shoe Diaries’ on lighting from the master himself, Joe McNally on 2 February 2010 at the ShangriLa Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. A huge thank you goes out to Louis Pang from Wedshooter.tv for making all the arragements for Joe to come down to Malaysia.
Joe started off the day with a slideshow and explained his techniques and how he achieved some of his famous shots which appeared in National Geographic magazine. He then demonstrated the use of small flashes as well as multiples lights both indoor and outdoor. The one day session with about 15 other photo enthusiast was enlightening and inspiring.
Its nice to meet Joe at last, he is such a down to earth person and so generous with his knowledge. His sharing on his humble beginnings as a rookie photog working for a local newspaper in New York to his current status of being one of the world’s renowned and travelled photographer is indeed eye-opening.

Here are some sneak preview shots of her garden birthday party held at in Kota Kemunin, Shah Alam recently. Since Shashini is a huge fan of micky mouse, her 1st year party was themed around mickey and minnie. Hope you enjoy viewing these images taken by Benjamin.

Spinach Salad with Red Pepper, Bacon Strips, Mushrooms and Roasted Potatoes
As I was going through my box filled with old film and slides which were shot pre-dating the digital era, I came across this shot of Venice which I’ve scanned. Venice is one of the most beautiful and crowded places I have ever been to, but it definitely is a city of dreams and wonderment! Getting on a gondola can be an experience affair but you must do it at least once in your lifetime!
I hope to return to Venice again either for photography or even just for a holiday. This time, I’d love to stay in Venice itself instead of the mainland in the hope of capturing even more beautiful images of this city.
Here are some photos of Baby Natalie Low’s 1st birthday party celebration held in Klang on 4 December 2009. Because Natalie was born in the year of the ‘Rat’ her family decided to use “Mickey & Miney Mouse” as the theme for the party. Hope you enjoy viewing these images which was shot by a friend of mine, Benjamin as I was away.

Rejuvenated after a short Christmas holiday break with my family, I’m enthused to start of the year with more photography projects. As the year progresses, I’ll share my goals, aspirations, achievements and more of my personal thoughts with all of you, hence it will be more blogging on my part!
Today, its exactly day 5 into the new year and I’m happy to say I’m sticking to my resolutions and I’ve realised my wish list for the year is longer than ever!
There will be some positive changes to the Company, starting from a new look and feel to the website (which is coming soon) to working with a pool of professional photographers who will shoot on behalf of me whenever I’m pre-booked in lieu of expanding the Company. 2010 is going to be filled with so much more excitement, so stay tuned for more goodness heading your way!

I photographed Selvi & Saravana Kumar’s wedding in Sri Thandayuthapani Temple, Jalan Ipoh, Sentul, KL on 28 November 2009. Here are some sneak preview photographs of their traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. The wedding was held at the Temple Chettiyar Hall located on the temple grounds.
It was a beautiful and traditional wedding ceremony which lasted about 2 hours followed by lunch served at the temple hall.
Selvi & Saravana – Thank you for being a lovely couple, it was great photographing your wedding. Hope you both had a lovely honeymoon in Bali too!
