Here are some food photos which was photographed when a review was done for Yeah Lifestyle of the upcoming British gastropub The Wheatsheaf Restaurant based in Sandbach, Cheshire. The pub was beautifully decorated and served some fabulous food. I photographed a total of 6 dishes, 2 being appetisers, 2 main courses and 2 desserts, for more images and video visit the Yeah Lifestyle website. All photos were photographed using natural window light at the restaurant.
Here are some photos which I photographed while attending the monthly Snapper Squad meeting at Hanley’s Masonic Centre which is run by The Sentinel, a newspaper covering news in Stoke-on-Trent. The model I photographed was Fiona, she got dressed in three sets of different themed clothes, each carefully showcasing her beautiful tattoos or body art. The whole session took around an hour and a half. Fiona was such a poised model, making sure she gave each one of us her attention and kept moving about. I have done a short demo video clip of our fun session, there are also quite a number of photos on this page and lots more on my facebook page.
Held once a year, The Photography Show offers great opportunity for amatuers as well as professional photographers to visit the show to learn, buy and find out more about the latest gadgets and technology in the photographic industry. I personally found the show to be inspirational as I got to meet other like minded people, test out some of the Nikon lens, as well as try our some other products which has been on my ‘wishlist’. There were lots of interesting talks and seminars as well throughout the day and it was nice to get some tips.
Here are some photos and videos taken during the photography show. Hope you enjoy watching them.
Here are some photos which I photographed at the last Snapper Squad Meeting which was held at the Masonic Centre in Hanley. Mark Scott who is a freelance photographer with Leek Post, The Sentinel and other publications gave us some lighting tips using various props such as coloured flash gels, grid and honeycomb flash modifier as well as wireless flash triggers. The model for the day was Jeniffer who was very professional and posed tirelessly while we all took turns photographing her.
Here are some photos which I photographed for Chris and Katie at their wedding at Shrigley Hall in Macclesfield, Cheshire. It was a beautiful event where the bride and groom had their wedding ceremony at Tilden Suite, we next took some photos of the wedding party, there were about 130 pax in total. This was followed by the guests relaxing and having a drink while the we did some couple portraits. The Suite was converted into a stunning dinner venue very quickly and beautifully by Dreams Venue Dressing which is based in Biddulph. They did a fabulous job in line with the theme which was ‘Harry Porter’.
The Shrigley Hall Hotel & Country Club is an elegant Victorian country house, set in 262 acres of grounds on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Hence the set-up for the wedding was really beautiful. Here are some of the photos taken on the day of the stunning couple.
We decided to celebrate Chinese New Year in Manchester this year with some friends. We brought along our children ranging from the ages of three plus to seven-years-old. They enjoyed watching the parade, lion dance and participating in the Chinese New Year activities at Central Library. As we were walking towards Chinatown where most of the event took place, there was lots of stalls selling toys and chinese decorative lanterns which was alongside stalls selling street food. Theme park style amusement rides were also aplenty, classical music lovers would have enjoyed listening to the Chinese Opera singers . Finally before we left we also experienced the familiar sounds of the chinese fireworks. All in all, it was a fabulous day. Do check out the photos and videos below.
Here are some of the photos I took of Lee and Susan’s traditional church wedding ceremony at St Mary The Virgin Church in Uttoxeter sometime back. I was the second shooter for this wedding and photographed the getting ready photos of the bridal party at their home, as well as the Church Wedding Ceremony. The couple were blessed with beautiful sunny weather throughout the day. The church ceremony started at 2pm and lasted for about an hour. Hope you enjoy viewing these images.
