I’ve just come back from an interesting and funtastic 3-day workshop organised by Louis Pang called “From Ordinary to Extraordinary”.

Walking into the workshop, I met photographers ranging from hobbyist, amateurs to pros coming from near and far with one vision; how to become an internationally acclaimed award winning photographer just like Louis.

The workshop taught me many things, mainly to think fast and create a shot within 3 minutes, to critique my photographs, create goals and how to improve my business and marketing aspects. I tremendously enjoyed the sessions very much and got to meet some cool photographers as well. At the workshop I also met another amazing photographer from Hong Kong, CM Leung. CM’s short workshop session has been etched in my mind and his creative style and use of almost zero space is simply amazing!

I was most touched by both Louis and CM Leung’s humble nature and their willingness to share valuable knowledge with us. Our shoots were held mostly at Heritage Hotel and the old train station in KL. The 3 amazing models are Marilyn, Darren and Vanessa who tirelessly posed for each one of us.
