It has been a while since I posted anything on my blog as I’ve been really busy with family matters, travels etc. 2012 has been a wonderful year and I have much to be thankful for… family, friends, good health and countless blessings. The coming year has the potential for even more excitement and new changes, so roll on 2013.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I was contacted recently by one of my previous pre-wedding portrait clients, Subha & Mahes to photograph their first pregnancy. Documenting a pregnancy is a beautiful process that encompasses a couple’s love for each other and for their forthcoming child. Such photos provide a lasting memory for the couple, and a source of fascination for their little one.
I took the pregnancy shots in a combination of outdoor and indoor settings. For the outdoor shots we headed to a park nearby their home and took some free and easy casual poses. The indoor portraits were photographed at their beautiful home which gave the portraits a pseudo studio effect. Do enjoy viewing these photos.
I got to know Sasi recently when she booked me for a two hour outdoor portrait session at Putrajaya. Originally a few of her friends were to join her for the shoot, but after a night of partying with hardly any sleep, Sasi was the only one who could wake up on the Sunday morning. The beautiful buildings and Malay inspired designs formed a great backdrop for our shoot, and with agreeable weather we had a photo session which was both enjoyable and productive.
Having a beautiful slim figure like hers definitely helps to capture model like photos. Sasi who loves dancing was a real sport and we had such a fun time. Enjoy these sneak preview images of her.

Here are some family shots I took recently of Bava and Venkat with their two boys, three year old Roopesh and six month old Pravanash. We chose Bukit Jalil Park as a location to get some shots of the little ones at play and some casual shots of the family as they spent some quality time together. Do enjoy viewing these images.
Here are some portraits of Ameera photographed at her beautiful home at Taman Tun Dr Ismail on a lovely weekend with her father, Kevin and mother, Sarah. Ameera who is just four years old, is full of confidence and charisma with a contagious smile. Ameera was really excited to show me some ballet moves, her fun personality just shone through throughout. Hope you enjoy viewing some of these shots of Ameera and her family.
Here are some portrait shots of Suneha along with her mother, Mindy and grandma, Harjit which I took in Putrajaya. Before a shoot I discuss with the client about any particular theme, concept or ideas they would like included in the session. Sometimes clients have a specific pose that they want captured, such as the mother and daughter close-up shot that Mindy requested.
We were blessed with good weather for the shoot, not too sunny even though we started late in the morning that day. Suneha was quite the photogenic child, a little shy at first which is not unusual during a photo session, but she soon warmed up to me. This is my second time photographing the Pui family, the previous time being an outdoor portrait session which can be viewed here. This time around I took an indoor portrait shoot of them at their residence in Puchong. It was a Chinese New Year themed photo session, hence the costumes and props.
It was great fun getting the little ones (Chrystabelle and Chrysander) to pose with the chinese lanterns, the red money packets and mandarin oranges at their residence in Puchong and they did a wonderful job. Hope you enjoy viewing these images.
Regular followers of my blog are probably aware that I have a daughter, Madeline who is now 19 months old. I like to photograph her on a regular basis because at this age children grow up and change at an incredible rate. Photographs are also a great way of keeping friends and family updated with her progress, and retain moments to share with her in years to come when she’s all grown up.
This being my first child, I’m still relatively new to parenthood, and with it comes a whole kaleidoscope of emotions from elation to frustration and everything in between. On the whole it’s a unique, incredible experience and I feel so blessed to be a parent, especially to such a wonderful cheeky rascal. Do enjoy these photographs of her which i took recently.
Wedding guestbooks provide the happy couple with a great memento to look back and cherish their special day with words of congratulations, encouragement and wisdom from their guests. We captured these beautiful shots of Dr Chitra and Dr Sridhar to showcase their Indian wear & themed wedding themed guestbook. This was a relatively quick session of about 45 minutes, just as the evening sun and the busy crowd was leaving Batu Caves. With beautiful weather at hand, both bride and groom were relaxed and easygoing. They wanted a natural look and feel about the shoot… “An Evening At Batu Caves”.

I’m posting this a little late after the Chinese New Year celebrations, but I would like to share a family portrait session taken at their home in Kuala Lumpur during Chinese New Year. With a total of thirteen family members young and old, I had great fun posing them. All shots were taken indoors at the client’s house, using available furniture as props. Here are some of my favourite photos from the session, do enjoy viewing these.
