Here is picture of Raa Raa The Noisy Lion in a toy form, its a very popular cartoon on CBeeBies Chanel, BCC UK. My son has always been facinated with lions and loves watching Raa Raa, even his first word as a baby was ‘Raa Raa’. Hence it was only fitting that when he turned two, we threw him a Raa Raa and jungle themed party.
The party was held at an indoor soft play centre called Wacky Warehouse in Congleton, a great location as its cosy and suitable for younger kids. There are two sections there, one for kids under 5 and another for kids above the age of 5. My son loves playing there, and I love their food and hot drinks which is an added benefit and their staff are very friendly and helpful. Here’s TJ at the soft play area.
Here’s another shot of TJ climbing up the ball area at Wacky Warehouse, Heath Farm. Since we had the party on Sunday morning, the crowd was less and we had the place all to ourselves which was almost like a private party.
Inbetween having a fun time playing in the soft play area, the kids had some time to do some Raa Raa colouring activities at the table before the food was served.
I printed these off the internet.
Here’s a photo of the jungle themed merchandise which I purchased of ebay and amazon uk. We ordered some buffet style kids food for the kids and it was delicious and good quality. There was plenty of leftovers for parents to have a bite too.
Here’s the little man with his favourite birthday cake, we ordered it from a specialised cake baking shop.
Here’s a shot of M, my daughter who was equally excited about the whole party. We had about 16 kids at the party altogether.
