Here’s a Engagement Portrait Session which I photographed for a couple who recently got engaged. They received a gift voucher for an hour long Portrait session as their Engagement present from one of their family member.  They decided for me to photograph them at a local park in Biddulph, Staffordshire. Once the photos were edited, the couple were given a wide selection of photos to choose from an online gallery.  I also edited the images into black and white as well, these images can be found on my facebook page under ‘Family Engagement Portrait Session‘. Hope you enjoy viewing these photos and feel free to contact me if you need to purchase gift vouchers as a present for someone you know or book a similar session for yourself. Moments captured for a lifetime.

These lovely photos were captured at the local Biddulph Gardens. It’s lovely there as the scenery is always stunning although we were between seasons and the flowers did not bloom, there were still a myriad of natural backdrops to use for our photo session. Here a shot of little 9-month old Iris with her dad, Jake, she was such a beautiful model and easy to photograph.
As a parent myself, I am really guilty of photographing my kids using my mobile phone all the time. Depending on your mobile phone, sometimes the quality of the images can be of poor quality and can’t be enlarged to a large wall canvas. Hence I can’t stress the importance of getting a good photographer to capture some lovely family photos especially of your children as they are growing up. If you find taking professional family photos expensive, speak to your photographer and purchase a package and you may get a discount with extra prints or enlargements. I would recommend taking family photos at least once a year and not just during Christmas. Photos which have been photographed by professional photographers also are editted to a higher quality and the files are provided in high resolution. These files if stored properly and backed-up, can be kept for a lifetime.

Here’s another family portrait.

Here’s another candid shot of little Iris with her parents, showing her taking her first steps. I find it so important to capture moments like this. Most parents have lots of photos only of their child but not as a family unit as they are the ones taking the photos. So its nice to relax and let someone else do all the work for you.

Besides the digital files, I also offer clients other options such as prints, albums, canvas and framed photos. These products may cost a little more compared to what you find online because products which I offer come from highly recommended suppliers. Our prints are printed using professional print labs to ensure that you receive the best colour and quality. It also takes the hassel from you, as once you order them, the products arrive beautifully presented and ready to be hung on your wall and shown to family members.

Here are more candid shots of the little one. She was totally amazing to photograph and full of smiles. We were also blessed to have fabulous weather that day.
