Here are some photos which I photographed for Chris and Katie at their wedding at Shrigley Hall in Macclesfield, Cheshire. It was a beautiful event where the bride and groom had their wedding ceremony at Tilden Suite, we next took some photos of the wedding party, there were about 130 pax in total. This was followed by the guests relaxing and having a drink while the we did some couple portraits. The Suite was converted into a stunning dinner venue very quickly and beautifully by Dreams Venue Dressing which is based in Biddulph. They did a fabulous job in line with the theme which was ‘Harry Porter’.
The Shrigley Hall Hotel & Country Club is an elegant Victorian country house, set in 262 acres of grounds on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Hence the set-up for the wedding was really beautiful. Here are some of the photos taken on the day of the stunning couple.
Photos of the bride getting ready, the make-up and dress fitting was done at Shrigley Hall. I would recommend brides who are getting married at Shrigley Hall to do the same and to book a separate room as its more relaxing as you won’t have to rush off to the location. The beautiful room also serves as a great backdrop for the photos.
Katie looked simply amazing on the day
Here’s the ring shot, we tried to incorporate the ring with the props to coinside with the wedding theme which was Harry Potter
Other themed items at the wedding consisted of the owl, the Harry Potter invitation letter, wedding cake, page boy dressed as Harry Potter himself, the table setting and design as well as the page boy dressed as Harry Potter himself. All these little things made the wedding that much more special.
Some shots of Chris getting ready just before the wedding. His dad was helping him with the tie

Here’s the four-tier cake with the Harry Potter theme, the back of the cake had the different house colours to co-inside with the Harry Potter house which was Gryffindor, Hugglepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. The cake was supplied by Millrise Cake in Biddulph. They did a fabulous job as the cake looked beautiful.
