Here are some food photos which was photographed when a review was done for Yeah Lifestyle of the upcoming British gastropub The Wheatsheaf Restaurant based in Sandbach, Cheshire. The pub was beautifully decorated and served some fabulous food. I photographed a total of 6 dishes, 2 being appetisers, 2 main courses and 2 desserts, for more images and video visit the Yeah Lifestyle website. All photos were photographed using natural window light at the restaurant.
Appetiser – Warm Poached Pear Salad, which was a selection of seasonal leaves, English Stilton, red onions, walnuts, local honey dressed with watercreast.
Appetiser – Ham and Eggs, again locally sourced Cheshire ham on toasted tin loaf, local free range poached egg served with hot butter sauce.
Managed to pop into the kitchen to get a quick shot of Chef Chris Morgan who was busy preparing the lunch orders as the restaurant was quite busy, although it was just afternoon and on a weekday.
Main course – Slow Roast Astbury Pork Belly with honey mustard glaze, baked apple, roast shallots and sweet potato mash.
Main course – Tarragon Chicken, a free range chicken breast cooked to perfection in white wine, cream and tarragon sauce.
