I recently spent a day photographing a beautiful couple in Chester as their second shooter. I started off my day at the Bride’s house in Northwich where I photographed her, the bridesmaids, and her family getting ready. The bridal party had booked a lovely bus to shuttle us around so I managed to get a lift on it to my next location which was the Chester Register Office for their Civil Ceremony. We next headed off for some bridal, couple and family portraits at Chester River, The Band Stand. The place was scenic with a lovely bridge and the weather was also fantastic. Right after the portrait session, we headed off to Antrobus Village Hall, Knutsford Road for the Reception photos. The whole day was just perfectly planned and everything went accordingly. I took hundreds of photos on the day and here are a few of my favourite ones for the blog, more photos can be seen on my Facebook page – Asha Carlos Photography.

Photo taken at Chester Register Office, the room was nicely decorated and cosy and big enough just to fit in close family members.

Here’s a photo of Sam and Kathryn with their dog, Isla. Isla was not allowed at the Register Office so she has to wait in the car and joined the couple later.
Our portrait session was held at the lovely Bridge over looking Chester River and park. Fabulous place just to have a walk about if you are visiting the historic and beautiful city of Chester. Kathryn was holding on to a horseshoe in memory of Juke, her horse.
Antrobus Village Hall was converted into a beautiful wedding venue, there were so many beautiful decorations on the day and so much effort gone into preparing for it. As photographers, we aim to capture these so that couples are still able to preserve their memory in time to come. There were lots of little boards such as the one below for guests, which was one of my favourite.
Lovely decorations adorned the hall such as buntings, balloons, flowers. Photo was taken during the speech.

Love this shot, something so dreamy about it
