It was such fun photographing the energetic and playful Adam during a recent 1-hour portrait session. This cute and witty little boy loves Thomas the tank engine and friends. Here are some shots taken with his mum and aunt at the clubhouse on the rooftop of a serviced apartment in Jalan Ampang, KL. Do enjoy viewing these photos of him.

Friday, February 3rd, 2012Kids And Family Portrait Session
Wednesday, January 25th, 2012An outdoor photography session with kids can be so much fun, more so with a swimming pool on a hot day. We began the session with some portrait photos of the kids at the family’s condominium park in Puchong and ended with some shots by the pool. Both two-year old Chrystabelle and Chrysander loved splashing about in the water.
Hope these photos put a smile on your face, do enjoy!
Rayen’s Family Portrait Photos
Sunday, November 20th, 2011This young charmer is named Rayen, as he symbolises the sun’s happy rays. Just like his name, he truly was a joyous ray of light making all of us laugh during the photo session. This handsome 18-month boy is of mixed parentage with Chinese and Indian lineage, cultural diversity being a valuable part of Malaysian society.
Ryan and his parents, Angeline and Naveen were photographed on location at their beautiful home in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.
Sahanna Turns Three Years Old
Friday, October 14th, 2011I photographed Sahanna’s outdoor family portrait session for her 3rd birthday at a park near her home at TTDI near Mines Resort, Cheras. It was a beautiful and sunny morning and just like the weather, Sahanna had a bubbly personality and was full of energy. Choosing the photos for my blog was tough as there are so many wonderful shots of cute little Sahanna – she is certainly fun and full of expression.
Did you know that the name Sahanna means musical scale (ragam) in Carnatic music? I’m sure Sahanna will produce beautiful melodies when she grows up as she already loves music at this tender age. Thank you Mohan and KalaiSelvi for the opportunity to be able to capture your little angel, I had such a blast. Happy 5th Anniversary to you both!
Russian Family Portrait at KLCC
Friday, September 23rd, 2011This is the first time I’ve taken a portrait session with a Russian family, so I was pleased to have the opportunity to photograph them. We decided on a suitable location which was at KLCC park in Jalan Ampang, KL. The family members were accommodating and easy to work with, which always makes a photographer’s job that much easier.
Of course, kids being kids they were wanting to run around and play to their hearts content, resulting in some lovely photos of them and their personality. As you can see from the following photos, this is a beautiful family indeed.

Tarraniya’s 1st Birthday Celebration
Thursday, June 9th, 2011I was commissioned to photograph Tarraniya’s 1st birthday party on 22nd May 2011 at the Botanic Garden Club House in Klang. The party was very well organised by her parents, Nirmala & Inthiran. Disney characters came to life with a Mickey Mouse mascot, a beautiful themed birthday cake, party packs, Mickey & Minnie cookies, cup cakes etc.
The evening tea party was full of fun activities. While the parents were ushered to the buffet table, the kids were entertained by a clown and face painter who drew beautiful designs to complement their costumes. The evening ended with a best dressed girl and boy competition – a tough choice for the judges as all the kids were dressed like winners!
Tarraniya was an angel through out the evening and kept the guests entertained with her cute antics. To view more photos of this event, head to Baby Tarraniya’s Birthday Party Celebration Gallery
Vinoshan’s 1st Birthday Celebration
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011I had the privilege of photographing Vinoshan’s 1st birthday party held at the local apartment hall of his home in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur on 21st May 2011.
We began the photography session with some family portrait shots and followed with the birthday party celebration. The theme for the birthday party was ‘Madagascar’ hence everything from the cake to the decorations was of Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo – the main characters from the movie.
The party was eventful with magic shows, clown performances as well as an inflatable bounce indoor playhouse to keep the kids entertained. The birthday boy, Vinoshan was full of smiles and expressions throughout the evening, a very friendly boy.
Thank you Muru & Puspa, It was a pleasure to photograph Vinoshan’s big day!

Four Month Old Baby Boy Portrait Session
Friday, February 11th, 2011Babies are simply adorable don’t you think? Especially when they are at that young and tender age. It’s good for parents to capture those precious memories of a baby’s early years as the moments do pass by so incredibly quickly. Here are some images from a recent portrait photography session I took in celebration of four month old Baby Rohit. The shots were taken indoor at their residence at Subang Jaya.
Joining his parents, Shawn and Karmini for the session were his Grandma Sally and Uncle Taro who flew down from USA.

I’m back!
Thursday, October 21st, 2010If you have been following my blog you would have noticed the lack of blog postings in the last month or two. Reason being I’ve just delivered a beautiful baby daughter in August and have since been recuperating at home. I spent the first month or 44 days to be precise, since my delivery in confinement. This is an asian tradition followed after giving birth by which my diet was restricted to only certain types of food, I kept myself wrapped up so I feel like an inferno and I only take a bath in herbal water.
Despite the inconvenience of confinement, I’m glad my mum insisted that I follow these practices which have been passed down from generation. I’m happy to say that I am fully recovered thanks to my family and am now back on my feet again ready to start photographing weddings and portraiture sessions from November 2010 onwards, hence please contact me to check on my availability.
Here’s a sneak preview of a picture taken by my husband of my daughter and I. More shots of her will be posted soon …so keep your eyes peeled on the blog!
I came across this beautiful poem by Kahlil Gibran, thanks to a friend of mine, Steph Tan which sums up what I feel about the above picture.
“Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts.
…For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit,
not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.”
- Kahlil Gibran
