Little Miss Ameera’s Portrait Session
Wednesday, April 25th, 2012Suneha’s Family Portraits
Wednesday, April 18th, 2012Here are some portrait shots of Suneha along with her mother, Mindy and grandma, Harjit which I took in Putrajaya. Before a shoot I discuss with the client about any particular theme, concept or ideas they would like included in the session. Sometimes clients have a specific pose that they want captured, such as the mother and daughter close-up shot that Mindy requested.
We were blessed with good weather for the shoot, not too sunny even though we started late in the morning that day. Suneha was quite the photogenic child, a little shy at first which is not unusual during a photo session, but she soon warmed up to me. Do enjoy viewing these photos and feel free to contact me if you would like your family portraits captured.
Portraits Of Miqael Adam
Friday, February 3rd, 2012It was such fun photographing the energetic and playful Adam during a recent 1-hour portrait session. This cute and witty little boy loves Thomas the tank engine and friends. Here are some shots taken with his mum and aunt at the clubhouse on the rooftop of a serviced apartment in Jalan Ampang, KL. Do enjoy viewing these photos of him.
Maziah & Anaqi Farrel Pre-wedding Portraits
Friday, October 28th, 2011Themed casual pre-wedding portrait sessions are one of my favourite portrait sessions to photograph besides kid’s photography as a lot of thought process goes into setting up each shot. From location, props, make-up to clothes, I will most often come up wuth a concept to share with the couple or get them to propose some ideas. The whole process is so much fun and I enjoy this very much.
Maziah and Anaqi met when they were in high school in Kuching then they parted separate ways, somehow fate brought them together when they randomly met in KL. Both of them are so in love and capturing that in photos gives me a fuzzy feeling. They will be getting married on 23 December 2011 in Kuching, East Malaysia. The reunion is all the more beautiful as its a mixed marriage, Maziah is Malay while Anaqi is of Chinese origin.
For the photo shoot, we decided to do two different themes – the first is a pre-wedding portrait session while the second a school themed session to mimic the days when they were ditching school and hanging out in the park instead. Do enjoy these sneak previews.
Baby Cadence’s Family Portrait Photography
Tuesday, September 13th, 2011I do enjoy outdoor portrait shoots, especially at beautiful locations which inspire, as was certainly the case here. Both Jun Hao and Elena suggested having the portrait shoot at Cyberjaya, the same location where they had their wedding. This location contains happy memories for them, so it was a marvelous opportunity to return to the place and add to those memories with their lovely little girl who has just turned one year old.
Here is baby Cadence or Cady as she’s fondly called, who was the star of the session for sure! Her joyous personality and cute expressions were just what I needed to capture this beautiful family portrait for them.

Vinoshan’s 1st Birthday Celebration
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011I had the privilege of photographing Vinoshan’s 1st birthday party held at the local apartment hall of his home in Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur on 21st May 2011.
We began the photography session with some family portrait shots and followed with the birthday party celebration. The theme for the birthday party was ‘Madagascar’ hence everything from the cake to the decorations was of Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo – the main characters from the movie.
The party was eventful with magic shows, clown performances as well as an inflatable bounce indoor playhouse to keep the kids entertained. The birthday boy, Vinoshan was full of smiles and expressions throughout the evening, a very friendly boy.
Thank you Muru & Puspa, It was a pleasure to photograph Vinoshan’s big day!

Playtime With Baby Neha
Thursday, May 19th, 2011In celebration of beautiful baby girl Neha turning six months old, her mum Puvanes decided to get some portraiture shots of her little one. Puvanes who got to know me from one of my previous clients Salina, came all the way from Seremban especially for the shoot.
Baby Neha was super photogenic and her smile was contagious. The photo session was held in KL and as it was situated nearby a residential park, we decided on a combination of indoor and outdoor shots. Little Neha was happy to dress up in the selection of outfits that was laid out for her by her mum, and her charm and character resulted in a great set of pictures.

Salina’s Lenggang Perut (Bangle Wearing) Ceremony
Wednesday, December 15th, 2010As a photographer it’s always a pleasure to receive a new assignment from a previous client. A while ago I had the privilege to take some wedding shots of Salina and her husband, Rajindren. I was thrilled when she contacted me with news that she was seven months pregnant. It gives me great satisfaction to have the opportunity to capture key moments in people’s lives, and Salina’s Bangle Wearing Ceremony (Valaikappu) was certainly a joyous occasion.
A bangle wearing ceremony is a tradition usually performed when seven months pregnant. Relatives adorn the mother-to-be with a selection of glass bangles on her arms for the well being of mother and baby. Sandalwood paste is smeared on the face, hands and feet of the expectant mother in order to cool the body, and a selection of rice is offered, the choice of which signifies whether the baby will be a boy or girl – supposedly.
The bangle ceremony was held in a beautifully decorated apartment in Cheras and Salina looked gorgeous that I had a tough time choosing which photos to place on my blog. So here are just a few of them taken during the event, showcasing her beauty and an enchanting ‘glow’ that is so unique to pregnant women.
