It was such fun photographing the energetic and playful Adam during a recent 1-hour portrait session. This cute and witty little boy loves Thomas the tank engine and friends. Here are some shots taken with his mum and aunt at the clubhouse on the rooftop of a serviced apartment in Jalan Ampang, KL. Do enjoy viewing these photos of him.

Friday, February 3rd, 2012Kids And Family Portrait Session
Wednesday, January 25th, 2012An outdoor photography session with kids can be so much fun, more so with a swimming pool on a hot day. We began the session with some portrait photos of the kids at the family’s condominium park in Puchong and ended with some shots by the pool. Both two-year old Chrystabelle and Chrysander loved splashing about in the water.
Hope these photos put a smile on your face, do enjoy!
Tender Moments With Baby LeAnne
Monday, January 16th, 2012Regular visitors to my site will know that I have a fondness for portrait photography, especially baby, child and family portraits. I enjoy capturing those precious early stages of a child’s development which form cherished memories. This recent shoot was a quick 45 minute session, and baby LeAnne was fun and energetic throughout. We were blessed with good weather on the day, with a light breeze and slightly overcast sky – great for soft and subtle skin tones.
These family portraits of LeAnne with her parents Vincent & Michelle were photographed at Desapark City, Selangor.
Casual Portraits
Tuesday, January 10th, 2012Many people like to take portraits during an important time of their life such as documenting the arrival of their newborn child, birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions and so on. Actually you don’t really need a reason – any time is a good occasion to let your hair down, get glammed up and take some fun photos with your friends or family.
I enjoyed photographing these three lovely ladies, who happen to be school teachers, at the Palace of the Golden Horses, Mines Resort recently. We had a dress change halfway through the session, starting off with casual and relaxed clothing and moving on to more dressy and glamorous attire. Here are a few sneak preview images to enjoy.
Milann’s 1st Birthday Celebration
Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012I had the opportunity to photograph Milann’s 1st birthday party celebrate on 17th December 2011 at the Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Resort. This was a pool side party and was beautifully decorated with Milann’s favourite Sesame Street character, Elmo. Milann’s mum and dad, Yogan and Pugan, did a great job in organising a well themed, fun and entertaining party for their baby boy.
Do enjoy some sneak preview of these images.
Vidhya & Thenes’s Engagement Ceremony
Wednesday, December 28th, 2011I had the privilege to photograph Vidhya and Thenes’s Hindu Engagement ceremony at the beautiful Sri Muthu Mariamman Temple off Jalan Pantai Baharu in Bangsar on 14th December 2011. We started off at Vidhya’s home for some getting ready shots before heading off to the temple. It was a wet day but luckily the weather improved just as the Groom’s family arrived with the gift trays.
As you can see, Vidhya and Thenes looked absolutely gorgeous and they both planned the day meticulously so everything fell perfectly into place. Here are some sneak preview images of their special day.
Fun & Bubbly Baby Rithiekka
Monday, December 12th, 2011Introducing Baby Rithiekka who is such a fun and bubbly little girl. This ten month old baby can already walk, babble baby talk non-stop and loves to explore new places at such a young age!
We decided to have the portrait session at a park close to her home in Klang and the weather was beautiful, making the session such a breeze. Since Rithiekka loves the water so much, we decided to take some shots of her in the baby swimming pool. Watching Rithiekka splash about in the water with excitment was so refreshing.
Enjoy these images and hope they put a smile on your face.
Rayen’s Family Portrait Photos
Sunday, November 20th, 2011This young charmer is named Rayen, as he symbolises the sun’s happy rays. Just like his name, he truly was a joyous ray of light making all of us laugh during the photo session. This handsome 18-month boy is of mixed parentage with Chinese and Indian lineage, cultural diversity being a valuable part of Malaysian society.
Ryan and his parents, Angeline and Naveen were photographed on location at their beautiful home in Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.
Little Miss Sarah Portrait Session
Friday, November 4th, 2011Introducing the bubbly two and a half year old Sarah. This little girl of mixed parentage (Chinese mum and Malay dad) was not only cute but full of expression and energy.
We started off our shoot outdoors on their garden patio but when the weather turned we decided to move indoors. Even so, there was plenty of good natural light coming through the windows so the photo session turned out great! I had a fun time photographing Sarah with her parents, grandparents and aunt at her home nearby Tropicana Golf and Country Resort. Little Sarah was acting all grown up and she even decided to choose what she was going to wear for the photography session. Don’t you agree that her choices are just beautiful?
Here are some sneak preview images, do enjoy these.
Maziah & Anaqi Farrel Pre-wedding Portraits
Friday, October 28th, 2011Themed casual pre-wedding portrait sessions are one of my favourite portrait sessions to photograph besides kid’s photography as a lot of thought process goes into setting up each shot. From location, props, make-up to clothes, I will most often come up wuth a concept to share with the couple or get them to propose some ideas. The whole process is so much fun and I enjoy this very much.
Maziah and Anaqi met when they were in high school in Kuching then they parted separate ways, somehow fate brought them together when they randomly met in KL. Both of them are so in love and capturing that in photos gives me a fuzzy feeling. They will be getting married on 23 December 2011 in Kuching, East Malaysia. The reunion is all the more beautiful as its a mixed marriage, Maziah is Malay while Anaqi is of Chinese origin.
For the photo shoot, we decided to do two different themes – the first is a pre-wedding portrait session while the second a school themed session to mimic the days when they were ditching school and hanging out in the park instead. Do enjoy these sneak previews.
