I had a great time volunteering during the Freedom Film Fest at the Central Market Annex, Kuala Lumpur. The fest which is organised annually by Komas is one of its kind, as it showcases thought provoking films and documentaries featuring various issues such as human rights, AIDS/HIV, poverty and the environment. Besides the screenings, there are also various workshops organised for the public, contest to promote filmmaking as well as discussions.
